I've always had an entrepreneurial and creative eye. My first foray into creative design was making jewelry for my parents' store. Later, in college, I studied architecture, where I honed my eye for elegant aesthetics and clean, functional design. In the years since, I have been drawn again and again to creative enterprises: I made my own jewelry line, explored pottery, created fabric totes, and sewed handmade leather journals. Even while raising my two children and moving states three times, I have never stopped looking for ways to add subtle beauty to the items that we use in our everyday lives. Eventually I found soap-making and taught myself the intricacies of the cold-process soap making method. Creating my own hand-crafted business and exploring the limits of soap artistry has been immensely fulfilling on so many levels. I am always experimenting with new soap designs that are pleasing to the eye, while also striving to create a gentle-on-the-skin product that my family can use. Striving to find the best ingredients and make the highest quality soap is what pushes me to keep creating.
